Isabella Hell: From Comic Book to Animated Series

Isabella Hell Animated Series

I’ve always been drawn to the gritty, provocative energy of Heavy Metal magazine and anthology series like Love, Death + Robots, as well as anime and manga pinup.

Isabella Hell is my flagship IP; an adult animated satire following Bella, an obsessive cosplayer who stumbles into a covert operation at a comic convention and ends up with a lot more than she bargained for.

Production Notes:

Episode 1 was produced entirely by myself using a GenAI-native pipeline: character design and concept art originated in Photoshop and Gemini, Ai image guided by hand-sketched composition layouts, with animation generated through Kling 3.0 and Seedance 2.0. As shown in the screenshots below, I originally started this project using ComfyUI, creating Character LoRAs first in SD1.5 (early 2025), then Flux (using FluxGym). As the tech evolved, and with the release of Gemini’s NanoBanana 2, I made the decision to pivot to work mostly with NanoBanana, as it gave me quicker, better results. I also switched the aesthetic style from realism to anime, as I found it worked better with my script and story visuals. For the character voices, I worked with real voice actors to add more authentic performances, as well as used AI voice lines generated in Elevenlabs which allowed me to develop new techniques for lip-sync.
