Untitled Dystopian Thriller

I’ve been working on a dystopian, scifi political action-thriller, that explores themes of national identity, colonialism, survival, and sacrifice. Think of it as a mix of Hunger Games, Man in the High Castle, and Walking Dead (but without the zombies). I’ll be posting more images from this narrative over the next while.

Synopsis
In the not-so-distant future, after enduring civil war, food shortages, and a global nuclear crisis, Canada has forged a union with the People’s Republic of China and has become a communist fascist regime. With the exception of the sprawling new Capital and a handful of modern cities to the west, most of the nation is in ruins; abandoned, left to crumble and decay in a post-apocalyptic world.

The story follows a group of people who come together under unlikely circumstances, struggle to reconcile their differences, and attempt to discover for themselves what it truly means to be “Canadian”.
